Grants for Immersive Teen Experiences:
Overnight Retreats, Overnight Camps & Trips To Israel
Our community is committed to encourage attendance of immersive Jewish experiences for teens as a way to strengthen their connection to Jewish identity and heritage.
Many teens in our community may not have had strong exposure to Jewish traditions or values due to their upbringing in the families that immigrated from the former Soviet Union, where religious practice was suppressed and forbidden.
By providing grants for immersive programs such as overnight camps, trips to Israel, or educational retreats, the community aims to create opportunities for young people to explore their Jewish roots in a positive, supportive and engaging environment.
These experiences help teens gain a deeper understanding of their cultural and religious heritage, fostering a sense of community and ensuring a continuity of the Jewish peoplehood.

Jewish immersive experiences also play a crucial role in helping teens develop resilience against dramatically increasing antisemitism.
By immersing them in Jewish culture, history, and values, these programs equip young people with the knowledge and confidence to face challenges related to their Jewish identity. Understanding the rich history of the Jewish people, including overcoming persecution, enables teens to develop a strong sense of pride in their heritage.
Furthermore, connecting with other Jewish teens who share similar experiences helps create a support network that fosters solidarity, offering strength in the face of adversity.
